ALASKA

Alaska

We went on a cruise to Alaska with Dustin's family...

It was so beautiful- Ashlynne was awesome-

We had alot of fun. Everybody should go at least once..

This is our incredible traveler. She is so good to travel with.
This face was after being up since 3:30am, flying ALL day
( she did nap on the plane), an hour and a half bus ride to
our cruise ship... weird meal times...

all our family who arrived at the ship before us...
Ashlynne always has the best disposition.

She was pretty close to perfect for the whole week long cruise.

This was the drill everybody has to do once they're on the boat...

And she was NOT happy-
This was no Lightning McQueen lifejacket- it was too tight,
you had to wear your coat because it was too cold to go without it.
Freezing cold does not describe how cold it truly was.

This was one of the very-rare-not-happy-moments. Poor Baby!

4th of July

JULY 4TH
Round Valley

Ashlynne loved the parade... Poor Uncle RaRa. He broke his foot early that morning and was at the hospital so he missed watching the parade. We had fun, though. Ashlynne was all about the "fireworks" on her head!

No Uncle RaRa, but Kyle got Ashlynne all to himself! She loves Kyle. Awww!

Lake Powell

Dustin had a week long training seminar in Page, so we went with him. Ashlynne loved the lake the first day, and then after swimming in the crystal clear water of the hotel pool, decided the lake was NOT for her... There was "gross stuff in my shoes daddy!" So... Dustin had to empty her shoes out more than once. She's not a fan of lake water!

Ashlynne is very social, so she would talk to anyone and everyone while we were there. We were playing in the pool on the steps, when Ashlynne bends over and starts walking weird. She says to the couple who didn't speak english: " I'm walking like a gorilla..." They didn't respond and continued to watch her, so she re-demonstrates it again: "I'm walking like a gorilla..." Again they didn't say anything, so she tilts her little head to the side and says " Now, how cute was that?!!"

I laughed so hard. That couple had no clue how cute that truly was!

Oh yeah... The Lightning McQueen lifejacket- I tried to get her to at least consider the Disney Princess one, but nope. Lightning McQueen is her favorite. Cinderella isn't her fave... Just McQueen

Firebird 02-08

This is us at Firebird... We had so much fun. Daddy let her sit in a junior dragster and she loved it. It didn't go fast enough...!

Great Grandpa and Grandma's

We went to visit Great Grandpa and Great Grandma. They loved her little quad~that's the only way she got to ride it in their house! Never would have happened when I was little!

Ashlynne couldn't take it anymore. She had to 'dats' (dance)! Anytime there is music, she starts jammin'. She loves her music!

OH, the steeler outfit is a joke. We're not really steeler fans... all of the in-laws are. Me and Ashlynne are cowboy fans. GO ROMO! Hope his finger gets better soon!!!! :)
